This pair of large ceramic amphorae originates from Brazil and was traditionally used for storing water. Each piece measures about 40 cm in height and 50 cm in width, giving them a strong presence. Both amphorae are handmade and show the irregularities and texture typical of old utilitarian ceramics. One of them has raised decorative details running around the shoulder, while the other has a simpler rounded form with a rough surface.
