This interesting looking piece is truly one of a kind. The piece, which is signed by the artist, is an extravagant example of the type of designs the Memphis school of that time produced. It is exemplary of the postmodern age in which bright colours, geometrical asymmetries and freedom of expression were central elements. It was an age in which furniture was designed not to blend in, but to stand out and this piece is no exception.
