"Rhubarb" lamp by Carlo Giorgi

€ 2550

The iconic “Rhubarb” floor lamp, designed by Carlo Giorgi for Bottega Gadda in the 1970s, is a quintessential piece of Italian mid-century modern design. This sculptural lamp features a single large rhubarb leaf made from hammered brass, supported by a curved circular brass frame. The intricate detailing of the leaf and the polished brass finish give the lamp a warm, golden glow when illuminated, making it a statement piece in any room.

Tommaso Barbi, a defunct furniture and lighting company from Rome, is unrelated to this lamp series. However, many table and floor lamps, wrongly attributed to Tommaso Barbi, can be found online.
